ضمن الجهود التي تقوم بها إدارة الدفاع المدني بمحافظة المذنب في رفع مستوى الوعي الوقائ قامت الإدارة وبالتنسيق مع بلدية المحافظة باستغلال المواقع السياحية التي يرتادها الناس هذه الأيام حيث تم القيام بمجموعة من الأعمال وهي :
1- توريع النشرات الإرشادية بمختلف المخاطر وخاصة المخاطر الخاصة بفصل الصيف وشهر رمضان المبارك.
2- الشرح للجمهور على أهمية استخدام طفاية الحريق وتدريبهم عمليا على كيفية استخدامها.
3- الشرح للجمهور على أهم المعدات التي يستخدمها الدفاع المدني في حالات الطوائ حيث يتم الشرح عمليا على سيارة الإنقاذ وما تحويه من معدات مختلفة يتم استخدامها حسب الحاجة.
