انطلاق فعاليات مهرجان سكرية المذنب الحمراء بالسوق المركزي للخضار والتمور
 

انطلقت فعاليات مهرجان السكرية الحمراء بمحافظة المذنب في نسخته الخامسة يوم الأحد الموافق الأول من شهر صفرلعام 1444هـ ويستمر لمدة 5 أيام في السوق المركزي للخضار والتمور بالمحافظة بتغطية إعلامية موقع وسناب أهالي محافظة المذنب الإلكتروني وبتنظيم من إمارة منطقة القصيم ممثلة بمحافظة المذنب ومكتب وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بالمذنب وبالتعاون مع بلدية المحافظة وشرطة المذنب ودعم الغرفة التجارية بمنطقة القصيم ممثلة بفرع محافظة المذنب وشريك تنظيمي لجنة شباب المحافظة، كان الإفتتاح بحضور سعادة مدير عام فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بمنطقة القصيم المهندس: يوسف بن محمد الرجيعي يرافقه سعادة مدير عام فرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بمنطقة الحدود الشمالية المهندس: إبراهيم الشويمان وكان في إستقبالهم سعادة مدير مكتب وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة بمحافظة المذنب الأستاذ: تميم العبودي والمدير التنفيذي للمهرجان الدكتور: سليمان الرشيد ،
وأوضح المدير التنفيذي للمهرجان الدكتور: سليمان الرشيد أن المهرجان يُساعد على تشجيع المزارعين وتعريف المجتمع بالثروة الزراعية بهدف تبادل الخبرات بين المزارعين والمنتجين وتنمية قطاع الزراعة وإنتاج التمور في المحافظة سعياً لتحقيق التميز والنجاح للمهرجان، ويضم فعاليات تشمل معارض للتمور وديوانية الضيافة وأركان للجهات الحكومية والخيرية وندوات .
يُذكر أن محافظة المذنب تشتهر بإنتاج العديد من التمور المتنوعة أشهرها السكرية الحمراء التي تحمل بدورها هوية المهرجان إضافة إلى السكرية البيضاء والروثانة والبرحي الكثير من أنواع التمور التي تسهم في رفع القيمة الإقتصادية لتمور بالمحافظة والمشاركة في المهرجان، وشرف المهرجان عدداً من الضيوف من دولة الإمارات ودولة عمان وعدداً من دول الخليج العربي ومن منطقة القصيم والمملكة .
