( سوق المجلس القديم )


يُعد السوق الشعبي في المذنب من أبرز المناطق السياحية والأثرية في القصيم حيث يرجع تاريخ القرية ماقبل القرن العاشر الهجري
والسبب تسميتها بسوق المجلس لوجود الجلسات والتي يجلس فيها الناس بين الدكاكين للبيع ونقل الأخبارمن البلدان الأخرى
حيث كان عددها ١٥ دكان ثم تزايدت حتى بلغت 33 دكان يتم فيها بيع وشراء احتياج الأن من مؤنه وزاد مثل : القمح والإقط والسمن وغيرها
والآن أصبحت الدكاكين معارض للقطع الأثرية القديمة بالإضافة إلى وجود بعض الحرف القديمة كالبناء بالطين والنجارة
والنقش على الأخشاب بالرسومات التراثية وتم إعادة ترميم القرية بنفس الخامات والمواد التي استخدمها الأباء والأجداد
مثل: الطين والجبس والحجر وخشب الأثل وجريد النخيل والذي بنيت عليه قبل أكثر من ٣٠٠ سنةويقع في القرية التراثية
مدرسة الشيخ العلامة :عبدالله بن دخيل والتي بُنيت وتأسست في عام ١٣١١هجرية وبمساعدة من قبل أهالي محافظة المذنب
وأميرها حيث أصبحت البلدة في تلك الأعوام معقلاً من معاقل العلم في كافة أنحاء الجزيرة العربية حيث تضرب إليها آباط الإبل
وتشد إليها الرحال فقدموا إلى مدرسة الشيخ بن دخيل من الوشم وسدير وحائل والحجاز وغيرها من البلدان العربية
ودرسوا فيها وتعتبر هذه المدرسة هي المدرسة التمهيدية التي ينتقل بعدها الطلبة إلى الجامع يتعلمون العلوم الدينية
على يد الشيخ :عبدالله بن دخيل ومن بعده محمد بن كريديس ليكملوا دراساتهم بشكل أوسع وأكبر
ويتراوح أعداد الطلاب بالمدرسة بين 50 و60 طالباً في نفس العام وواصلت هذه المدرسة عطاءها العلمي
حيث ظلت عامرة بطلابها طيلة 53 عاماً حتى عام 1366هـ ولازالت شامخة معتزة بعلمها ومشائخها
ويقع في القرية التراثية عدد من القصور والمنازل مثل: منزل الشيخ الغيلان
وقصر الإمارة قصر الأمير: فهد العقيلي وبيت الأمير بالإضافة إلى السواني
والتي تقع جنوب القرية والتي يستخرج منها الماء عبر الجمال بطريقتها التراثيه القديمة،
وتم افتتاحها على شرف أمير منطقة القصيم صاحب السمو الملكي الأمير:فيصل بن بندر بن عبدالعزيز آل سعود
بتاريخ ٢٦ / ٥ / ١٤٣٦هـ و يُقام في القرية المزادات الشهرية وتستقبل الوفود الكثيره
يقدر بعشرات الآلاف من كافة أنحاء المملكة ومن خارجها من السُياح وصنفتها الهيئة العامة للسياحة والآثار
أحد اهم خمس قرى تراثية في مملكتنا الحبيبة.
