· نبذة عن البرنامج:
· ضمن المناشط الرياضية لخطة الفصل الدراسي الأول من عام 434-1435هـ نظمت ثانوية المذنب ممثلة بالنشاط الرياضي عدة انشطة لهذا الفصل تحت شعار (الرياضة تجمعنا) منها:

· أولاً: دوري كرة الطائرة والتي استمرت المنافسات أكثر من أسبوعين, حيث شارك في هذا الدوري عدد 12 فريق. وبعد مستويات مميزة ورائعة استطاع الوصول للمباراة النهائية فريقي 3/ج و 2/ج واستطاع فريق 2/ج من الظفر بالفوز بنتيجة 2/1 والحصول على كأس البطولة والميداليات الذهبية فيما كانت الميداليات الفضية من نصيب فريق 3/ج ... وبعد نهائية المباراة النهائية سلم مدير المدرسة الأستاذ/ سامي الغطيمل كأس البطولة والميداليات للفائزين وقد حضر المباراة الأستاذ/ فهد بن سالم الرشيد المنسق للأنشطة الرياضية.

· ثانياً: كذلك في إطار الأنشطة الرياضية نفسها أقيمت بطولة النخبة في كرة الطاولة وقد شارك فيها عدد 8 طلاب من أبرز اللاعبين بالمدرسة. وكانت البطولة من خروج المغلوب حيث وصل للمباراة النهائية كل من: سليمان النقيثان ونادر العقيلي واستطاع سليمان النقيثان من التغلب على نادر العقيلي بشوطين مقابل شوط.

· ثالثاُ: كذلك قام قسم النشاط الطلابي بالمدرسة بزيارة مميزة لإسطبلات الحواس للخيول العربية الأصيلة بعد تنسيق مسبق من قبل الأستاذ/ إبراهيم بن عبد الله العقيلي مع الأستاذ/ عبد الرحمن بن عبد العزيز العيدي أحد ملاك عدد من الخيول بالإسطبل , وقام بالزيارة عدد 15 طالب يرافقهم الأستاذ/ إسماعيل بن إبراهيم الشمسان رائد النشاط بالمدرسة, والأستاذ/ إبراهيم بن عبد الله العقيلي معلم التربية البدنية . هذا وقد تخلل الزيارة في البداية استقبال مميز ومن ثم تناول القهوة والشاي. بعده توجه الجميع لأخذ جولة علي الخيول والتعرف على أنواعها وأبرز انجازاتها ثم قام الجميع بالركوب على الخيل فالجميع يعلم كلمة عمر بن الخطاب رضي الله عنه "علموا أولادكم السباحة والرماية وركوب الخيل" بعده تم التوجه لمكان الكؤوس والجوائز التي حققها هذا الإسطبل, ثم تناول الجميع طعام الإفطار الذي أقامه مشكوراً الأستاذ: عبد الرحمن العيدي.

أمل من الله سبحانه وتعالى أن نكون وفقنا فيما قدمنا .

أهداف البرنامج:
1- تعميق المفهوم الأمثل للرياضة في صقل المواهب وتهذيب النفوس وتقويم السلوك وإعداد الشخصية السوية المتوازنة التي تجمع إلى قوة العقل والروح وقوة الجسم التي حثتعليها الشريعة السمحة
2- استثمار الأوقات بما يفيد المتعلم ويحفظ عليه صحته ونشاطه في المستقبل .
3- تنمية اللياقة البدنية لدى الطلاب
4- إشباع رغبات الطلاب تحت إشراف تربوي سليم
5- تقديم أنواع الرياضات الشيقة التي تنمية التنافس الشريف
