أطلق تجمع القصيم الصحي ممثلاً بمستشفى المذنب العام مساء يوم الخميس 17 / 3 / 1444هـ الموافق 13 / 10 / 2022م حملة توعوية للكشف المبكر عن سرطان الثدي تحت شعار "القصيم وردية" بتغطية إعلامية موقع وسناب أهالي محافظة المذنب الإلكتروني، بالتزامن مع فعاليات الشهر الوردي العالمي للتوعية بسرطان الثدي التي تقام طوال شهر أكتوبر من كل عام.
وأكد تجمع القصيم الصحي أنه تم تخصيص أكثر من 180 من مراكزه الصحية والتخصصية ومرافقه الصحية، لإجراء الفحوصات الأولية للكشف المبكر عن سرطان الثدي.
وأبان أن الحملة شارك فيها عددُ من الجهات الحكومية ذات العلاقة، وبدأت الحملة بمسيرة راجلة رافقتها عربة متنقلة لإجراء الفحص الميداني، تهدف إلى رفع مستوى الوعي بمرض سرطان الثدي وأهمية الكشف المبكر وأكثر الفئات عرضة للإصابة به، بالإضافة إلى تثقيف المجتمع بأسباب الإصابة بسرطان الثدي وطرق الوقاية منه، والتي تعد من أهم أهداف الحملة التي تستهدف مختلف أفراد وفئات المجتمع وعلى وجه الخصوص النساء اللواتي تتراوح أعمارهن بين (18 - 60) سنة.
وتضمن حفل التدشين محاضرة تحدثت عن مخاطر مرض السرطان وأهمية الكشف المبكر، وقصة متعافية، وعرض إنشادي شعبي فلكلوري.
من جانبه تم تشكيل فريق طبي يُعنى بتوعية السيدات حول أهمية الكشف المبكر لسرطان الثدي، وتقديم التثقيف الصحي عبر عدد من الورش التوعوية، وأن حملة التوعية ستمتد لتشمل المرافق الحكومية النسائية، الجامعات والكليات، كما تتضمن الحملة إقامة معارض توعوية في المتنزهات العامة والخاصة.
وبين التجمع أن جميع منشآته الصحية مجهزة لاستقبال الراغبين في إجراء الكشف عن سرطان الثدي، داعياً إلى التفاعل مع الحملة والتوجه لأقرب مركز صحي لعمل الفحوصات من قبل الطبيبة المختصة وحجز موعد في عيادات فحص الماموغرام المتوفر في مستشفيات المنطقة.
