العوشزية، ( مركز ) تابعٌ لمُحافظة عنيزة، وهي منطقةٌ زراعية تقع شرق محافظة عنيزة، وتبعد عنها قُرابة ( 15 كيلو )، وسُميت بهذا الاسم، نسبة لكثرة شجر ( العوشز أو العوسج ) فيها، وفي عام 1430هـ اشتهرت بكثرة الأمطار فيها، حيثُ وجود البحيرة الشهيرة .. ومن حِينها إلى هذا اليوم نشأ :

مهرجان قرية ريف العوشزية التراثية .
